Message from Ann Katrusiak, PO President

As a parent of a Year 9 Student I am looking forward to a wonderful year, and it appears to be off to a great start.

On behalf of the UCC Parents’ organization (PO) I would like to thank UCC Faculty and Staff for their hard work and dedication over the summer in preparing for the students' return to school this September.

This year, the Parents’ Organization marks its 38th year of service to the parent and school community. The PO’s goal is to foster community engagement, support the College’s strategic directions , and celebrate the camaraderie and spirit within the school and among UCC families. Throughout the year we organize various social and informational in-person and virtual events for our parent community. We are proud of the longstanding and ongoing tradition of volunteerism within the school community at UCC.

This year the PO has a highly capable and group of committed volunteers to plan events and liaise with the parent community. Thank you to the over 55 members of this year’s PO Advisory committee PO Advisory Committee for their enthusiasm, dedication and support. If you are interested in volunteering with the PO you can do so here: Volunteer Form.

I extend a very warm welcome to all of the new families at UCC this year. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to members of the PO Advisory or your Year Representatives to say hello or if you have any questions.

I wish you and your family a wonderful start to the school year.

UCC Parents’ Organization Goals and Initiatives

Our primary goals are to foster community engagement, support UCC’s strategic directions, celebrate the camaraderie and spirit within the school, and work collaboratively with faculty and staff to connect families and ensure students enjoy the best possible school experience. We engage in a broad range of social, informational and fundraising initiatives – from planning speakers of interest to our community, parent get-togethers, and used uniform, spirit wear, frame and grad ring sales, to organizing our notable and much anticipated Festive Marketplace. All our activities are supported by hardworking and dedicated parent volunteers.
